So, what about all this Snakes on a Plane hiss... I mean, buzz? It certainly seems like an early cult favorite. The Internet Movie Database had a cool poll today and some of the potential answers were hilarious. The film's message board is a happenin' place to be and the anticipation is a-buildin'. :-) Talk about pop culture at its, erm, highest level!

I'm a bit sceptical about Snakes on a Plane myself...how can it be truly cult if so many people have already decided it's going to be even before seeing it?
That's not to say I'm not looking forward to it, by the by...
That is a good point. Usually, a cult reputation is quietly built up after the release, not with the hype beforehand. Maybe it is a post-modern kind of cult? :-) Who knows... It looks fun and campy, in any case.
